Gateway Talent Management (Gateway) was the exclusive recruitment partner of Medtronic in the UK from 2008 to 2016. It was responsible for managing all the sales, marketing and clinical positions throughout the UK and Ireland. The account management team that look after Medtronic only serviced their recruitment needs.
Gateway was responsible for attracting individuals to Medtronic, and then managing and maintaining a talent pool of prospective applicants.

Gateway also maintains relationships with UK healthcare recruiters, and we have a preferred list that we also utilize to help fill our roles. Thus, allowing individuals from all sources access to roles within Medtronic.
It allows individuals who want to work for Medtronic access to all sales, marketing and clinical roles that there skill set matches.

About Medtronic

The UK Head Office is based in Watford, and a sales office in Dublin supports this. They currently have a team of approximately 475 staff with over 75% of those being within Sales, Marketing and Clinical roles.

Medtronic has been consistently within the Sunday Times Top 100 companies since 2008. They have scored very highly every year in the list for employees believing their company makes a positive difference to the world - this year they were the second highest ranking company in this category with an 88% rating. Jackie Fielding, took over as UK & Ireland vice president in November 2010 after 19 years within Medtronic. People view Fielding as somebody who leads based on sound moral principles (85% a score bettered by just six other firms on the list).

Additionally, they were the 16th highest ranking business in the 'My company' sector - which is where employees score how important it is that they work for their individual company rather than just an organisation in their industry.

A Medtronic community action team organises events for good causes and the company supports charities such as Diabetes UK. It also promotes environmentally friendly policies.
